Conversations lead to improvements in XT-5 series of tracked feller bunchers
Listening to customer feedback led to increased power and lift capacity in the XT-5 series of tracked feller bunchers, as well as a boost in multifunctioning performance and hydraulic flow, all while maintaining fuel efficiency.
The machines were completely reengineered prior to their introduction with upgrades that include:
- Increased power and torque — even while using up to 5% less fuel.
- Greater lift capacities and the ability of the XT465L-5 to readily operate the Quadco 24-inch cutting capacity disc saw head.
- Left-positioned modern forestry cab with exceptional visibility and comfort.
- Komtrax remote equipment monitoring and telematics system.
- Outstanding serviceability with all points easily accessible and gull-wing hood engine access.
